Intern Host Families

The most unique thing about an EMI-AL internship is the host family experience. No other EMI internship offers you the opportunity to experience the country’s culture first hand like you do here, living with a Costa Rican family. We are blessed to have a great group of host families who love the Lord and are excited to be a part of EMI’s ministry by hosting interns.

Costa Ricans are known for their hospitality. A family will take you in as one of their own and share their life with you for the time you are here. They will take you to church with them and help you to get involved quickly in the local church and the community. They may even take you along on a family vacation or paseo so that you can see Costa Rica with the ones who know it best.
